TSE athlete in Texas Speed Elite jersey

TRAINING

Serious sprint development. Age-appropriate.

Our system is built around structured progression — separating athletes by maturity and experience so beginners can learn while advanced athletes are pushed toward higher levels of competition.

PHILOSOPHY

Inspired by Texas A&M-level sprint concepts.

The TSE system draws from training concepts used by elite collegiate programs — including the Texas A&M Aggies — adapted intentionally for youth ages 6 through 18. We coach the same fundamentals real sprinters are built on, just dosed for developing bodies.

WEEKLY STRUCTURE

A week at TSE.

Every week is built with intent. Conditioning, sprint development, and technical refinement each get their own day, their own purpose.

01

Conditioning Day

Hard conditioning & overdistance to build the engine.

02

Sprint Development

Acceleration, max velocity, and race-pace execution.

03

Technical Day

Form drills, block work, relay exchanges, fine details.

04

Recovery & Mobility

Active recovery, mobility, and athlete check-ins.

Grouped by maturity, not just age.

Athletes are placed into training groups based on developmental stage and experience — not just birthdate. That's how a young athlete learns proper mechanics and a high school athlete gets pushed toward Junior Olympic-level work in the same program.

Ages 6–8

Foundations

Coordination, fundamentals, fun, falling in love with the sport.

Ages 9–11

Development

Sprint mechanics, drills, intro to competition and race strategy.

Ages 12–18
